Botox is one of the most often used procedures against excessive sweat production in many areas of the body.
A fine needle is used to the sweat glands in the areas that produce a lot of sweat. These areas include: 1) the underarm area – 2) the palm of your hand – 3) the sole of your foot etc.
The area which botox is used on becomes very dry and sweat will almost not form in that area. This usually lasts 6-12 months and sometimes even longer!
The usage of botox on the underarms is FDA-approved.
You can choose between Botox produced in Korea or Botox produced in Europe/the USA.
Sweat Botox is a good choice for people with:
- Inconfidence about the amount of sweat they produce daily.
- Sweat stains
There is barely any downtime after Botox. Try to avoid alcohol, smoking and intensive exercise for a couple of days after the procedure.
